      Dr. Leonard obtained his MD from Queen's University in 1983, where he also completed his residency training in urology, and went on to complete a fellowship at John Hopkins in pediatric urology. He became professor at the University of Ottawa in 2005, Chief of Urology at the Children Hospital of Eastern Ontario in 1999, and Chief of Staff in 2007. His clinical research interest is in vesico-ureteric reflux.
