      Dr. Fradet graduated from Laval University in 1976. He sub-specialized in urologic oncology in 1981 while studying at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center in New York He joined the university’s faculty as professor of surgery and urology in 1992. He was director of the Uro-Oncology laboratory at the Hôtel-Dieu de Québec, In 2002, he was recruited to the American Association of Genito-Urinary Surgeons.
